Share Your Scarecrow Story
Next year--2010--will be the 25th Anniversary celebration of the Scarecrow Festival in St. Charles, IL. In recognition of this event, I will be collecting stories and remembrances people may have about past St. Charles Scarecrow Festivals. You can share your stories here at the Scarecrow Tales blog, at this year's Scarecrow Festival, at the official www.ScarecrowFest.com website, or at my website--www.ScarecrowTales.com (which will be up shortly).
You can stop by the official Scarecrow Festival booth either Saturday, October 10, or Sunday, October 11, between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to share your story. Brenda Galauner, from Memories and Memoirs (www.MemoriesandMemoirsForever.com), a St. Charles' company that specializes in creating video remembrances, will be joining me there to capture your story on video--if you wish. A video remembrance, "A Scarecrow Reunion--Celebrating 25 Years of Harvest" will be put together to commemorate this occasion.
I will also be collecting stories and remembrances in order to put together a print version of "A Scarecrow Reunion--Celebrating 25 Years of Harvest".
